Joe Mavrinac Complex Getting a Brand New Roof

Good news for the Joe Mavrinac Community Complex — a $1.3 million roof replacement is underway. Kirkland Lake council signed the contract with Flynn Canada Ltd. back in September, and roofing work kicked off Sept. 21. The main roofing is set to wrap up by Oct. 26, with the whole project finished by Nov. 17. This upgrade will keep the complex in top shape for all the hockey, swimming, and community events that make it such an important part of our town. Thanks to everyone involved in making this happen.
